endless sleep
written by melons06:43 PM 12/7/04Sleeping this endless sleep,
I’m falling way too deep,
Just how deep does the rabbit hole go?
I’m drifting, falling down slow
My eyes cannot awake,
I can’t have my cake,
And eat it all,
I remember standing,
Next I fall
Sleeping this endless sleep,
I’m falling way too deep,
Theirs nothing to miss
Not even my kiss
Alas I hit the concrete
I admit defeat
I am and was nothing
They thought I was bluffing
Sleeping this endless sleep,
I will never see day
I will always see night
My soul is yours to keep |
