» Poem: Consumed
Consumed
written by XpaperdollX

what have you done to me?
a smothering indistinctness of betrayal as memories twist.
once we shared bliss,
innocent and childlike,
but your thirst perished.
a horrific vision of bitterness -
emotions follow death, follow hate,
love dissolved.
in a burst of sorrow,
i still love you.
