losing you

i wish it wasn't true
i see you've finally found the door
and now i'm losing you
it seems as though you've left before
there's not much i can do
the wind is blowing you away
you're smiling at the end
i'm finding you're too good to stay
and you don't need a friend
i know i'm losing anyway
yet you don't comprehend
sunshine
moonshine
fading into rain
raindrops
time stops
anything could ease the pain
wanting just to see your face
i guess i lose again
with peppermints and silken lace
is loving such a sin
is my heart an empty place
or will i ever win
