» Poem: Staring out
Staring out
written by Trapezium

Staring out into azure sea's
Hair blowing in the breeze,
Birds tweeting and sun shining,
Cloudless sky and innocent bees.

Shadows walking as time's on fast,
Daisies laying in the green grass,
Water trickling slowly ahead,
Living life and not thinking of the past.

Tree's standing to the side,
Seagulls, so tranquil - glide,
Sounds of beautiful nature - nothing else,
Wide open space- perfect to hide.

Jump.

Loud thunder crashes,
And bright lightning flashes,
Illuminating the dark sky,
The blood on the rocks - it clashes.

Dead meat sprawled below,
Never knew how to go,
Bat's high pitched screechings can be heard,
Rain flies down - where's the snow?

Waited there for so long,
Summer through to winter - strong,
Then one gloomy night he died,
Why couldn't the poor kid go on?

Why?

His father left and his mum hit,
He had no freinds and his lovelife was shit,
He couldn't cope with school,
He kept it all inside - Every bit.

Few people knew he felt like this,
They continued to take the piss,
Every mirror he saw left a scar,
He thinks he's a soul that wont be missed.

He thought few people cared,
And those that did were never there,
He done some bad things in his time,
Now he's climbing down hell's stairs.
