» Poem: locked
locked
written by Dhirsti

i cannot find
in body or mind
the key to unlock your heart
you just won't see
that without that key
love can never start.
is your lock made of gold?
is it twisted and old?
or is it shiny and new?
does your key turn?
will you ever learn?
or must i teach it to you?
please open your door
i ask not for more
than just the friendship you give.
don't run and hide
let me inside
i'll care for you as long as i live.
just be my friend
let it not end
although we may part someday.
let me have your key
and stay here with me
please never go away.
