searching

my faith was hard to find
my love was close to leaving me
but i know that you are mine
i held my walls high
as if i had something to fear
but my heart is piecing back together
now that you are here
i was lying to myself
thinking i could never feel again
but you've shown me how to laugh
and broken hearts can always mend
yesterday i thought i was alone
storms were all could see
but i look at the smile in your eyes
and i can see you're searching for me
i've said l don't need a soul
and love wasn't my game
but now you've made me feel again
and i'll never be the same
