back again

like a ghost from the past.
Gone so long.
all but forgotten
I held in the memory,
but not in its gravity.
The sensation like power.
I fall right back in
like a comforting cloak
why ever did you leave?
When you are here
it feels we are one
but I feel more alone
when you have gone
we have no gallant cause
and seek no great reward
just power of the knowing
and perched aetherial view
I that you return
to claim a piece of me
but you see not what is missing
every time you leave |
