lost

how far i would go
to save your heart pain,
i wonder if you care
want me to be there
during the sun and during the rain.
i wonder if you think about me
and i'm hoping you'll be kind
when you decide to go away
and free me from your mind.
i wonder if your words are touched
and you still hold me dear.
for if you don't
i'll only be leaning on me
and wiping away my own tears.
i wonder how you feel
is your pain so real
that your heart is now made of steel?
i wonder if you still hope.
do you remember what forever was?
can you picture what it was
to have feelings just because?
i wonder if forever to you
are the times i've touched and recalled.
are you still thinking of me?
like me do your tears still fall?
i wonder if you're over me
for i'm trying to get over you.
all i hope is that you think of me
as the kind of friend you'd give forever to.
