letting go

have i to say
and my love is yours
but it's slipping away
promises are so needed
and i won't ever let you go
i know i'll always care for you
i just wanted you to know
i look into your eyes
i hold you in my dreams
but life is leaving us behind
and we're letting go it seems
there are so many things
that i feel the same as when we met
and remembering those wonderful times
there is nothing i'll ever regret
too many things
that are still left to say
and my heart is still yours
if you want it that way
