However Long

we must be apart,
but however long that is,
I'll still be here by your side
still holding your hand
never letting go
anyone who tries to break us
will know it's impossible
with everything we've been through
we're stronger than we think
we'll hold on to this,
to everything we have
there must be a future
we're still standing here
without a doubt
that this just might be
what we've been waiting for
and however long it takes
till we have time together
I will wait, and stay by your side. |
