tears
written by Dhirsti08:29 AM 4/15/04letting go is the hardest thing to do
when you're no longer one
but seperate and two
the pieces of your heart
fall torn to the ground
noone is there to catch them
and silence surrounds
like a bird you can't set free
chained to a cage
forgotten like me
this letting go
impossible to do
but since you have
i must let you go too
though darkness falls
and there are ropes around my heart
i know "together" isn't an option
because we are forever apart
letting go
once you've said goodbye
is seemingly final
and tears fall from my eyes.
