parade

step forward take a bow
and those that loved me as well
speak up and tell me now
and if you've ever thought
and asked yourself
is love easy or do i often cry for help
you would have seen
wherever you might be
that i was here
you can lean on me
the music may play
other hearts march on
but i'll play for you
never a sad song
and if every once in a while
a soft tear falls
i'll wait in the wind
until i hear your gentle call
and in the night
if ever i'm gone
fear no darkness
you're not alone |
