Mask of Obscurity

But all I did was lose control
And now I feel more abandoned than ever
Other than that I feel nothing whatsoever
Expressionless, I walked right past you
You glanced at me but had no clue
Then looked away as if I wasn't real
Unaware of how dejected I feel
Pretending I don't notice, I keep on going
As people keep walking by without even slowing
As if somehow I don't even exist
Again and again I am dismissed
For some reason none of them can see
Through my mask of obscurity |
