Nigel’s- A little boy lost
written by mattwhatever05:27 PM 12/13/04Nigel’s the man we all hope were not
A loner, an outsider
A man who acts the fool allot
A man in his forties
No apparent friends, no obvious family
The subject of so much cruelty
A strange recluse
Lonely and empty
He uses childishness as an excuse
He craves acceptance
Yet receives only contempt
He causes only more distance
He sits alone
The classic eccentric
There’s now way he’ll ever be a corporate clone
He tries to speak
But no one listens
He sits hunched and meek
Becoming Nigel is our fear
Understanding him, even more so
For next time you see a Nigel imagine
That may be you down to the core. |
