Ode to a tart

All cosy warm and dry,
His eyes are red his wrists have bled,
And know he wonders why.
He's crying bloodied tears tonight,
All empty torn and sad,
He's lost a girl he cannot fight,
He's such an ugly lad.
He's dreaming of cold suicide,
All lonely cold and blue,
He wants to run away to hide,
And it's all 'cause of you.
He's trying not to play your game,
All twisted full of hate,
He wants to cover up your name,
And it's 'cause of your date.
He wonders how you couldn't feel,
The pain that you had caused,
He expected you to be real,
Now his love life is lost.
He's all torn up from the inside,
No blood no life no heart,
Because of you this poor guy died,
Because you're such a tart.
He thinks about all his mistakes,
All broken so fragile,
To stop his soul that god should take,
Just mean it when you smile.
He wonders why you didn't care,
All your truths were lies,
Don't you think that it was not fair,
Now he's laying in the skies.
He's angry that you did no more,
Flirty kiss and tease,
You could have said he wasn't yours,
You brung him to his knees.
He knows why he is dead today,
You're the girl to blame,
You should just think before you play,
Not all hearts break the same. |
