pretend world

They don’t know what i do at night when all is quite
And the black velvet sky has come out
they never see me standing by their window
Just watching, looking for a hint to help show
Why I am so different from them.
All that i see are people pretending to be something their not.
People hiding themselves away from the world.
They never notice me when im around
Why would they notice me standing at their window now?
Do they even try to see me when im here?
If they saw me standing and just watching would they wonder why
Would they question my motives?
Would they invite me in, let me join their pretend world
Would I want to play pretend to?
If I ask them why they never noticed me before
What would their answers be? We didn’t see you standing there.
We never realised you were watching from afar.
Could they answer all my questions?
Will they tell me why im so different from them?
