» Poem: Stuck in the fishtank
Stuck in the fishtank
written by crzyredhead89

i feel like a fish out of water
suffocating in this stale air
i need to find water now
do i go to the fish tank or the lake?
the fish tank is closer and a whole lot safer
but the lake is more fun
stuck between 3 walls of glass my whole life
i finally see a way out
but do i leave everything ive ever known
the lake is a hell of a lot bigger then the fish tank
but once i leave will i ever be able to come back?
if i chose the lake i could never go back to the tank
but if i chose the tank i could always leave
do i chose the same old route or the new one?
do i put everything on the line for happiness?
