trickling through

a small droplet of love
tiny and unnoticed
in my rainfall of life
i tried sheltering myself from it
with an umbrella
but you came through
and softly touched my heart
i fell this time
it was more
than just a passing shower of hope
but an everlasting downpour
of gentle love
