» Poem: On the shelf*
On the shelf*
written by Trapezium
03:36 PM 6/17/04
My heart was on the shelf,
Far out of my reach,
I tried my hardest so i could teach,
Myself to love,
To be passionate,
I knew how to care,
And i knew how to be there,
For people when they need me,
So i didn't know how i couldn't see,
A way to reach my love.

And then i found the answer,
It struck me like a cancer,
As you talked to me,
I could finally see,
You reached up and brought my heart down,
Finally my love was found
