» Poem: I miss you
I miss you
written by IceBound
05:04 PM 12/14/04
once again, it's another day
that must pass
without you
a price i must pay
for what i say
isn't what i wanted in the first place
the day is long, a very slow pace
this long 'to-do' list is getting short
what to do now that we're apart
nothing but the stars above
reminding me that you're out there
somewhere, watching, waiting
for a sign, some sort of sign
it's only 8:03
already i wanna break free
just run to you
for once in a day, i could see
that you're ok, no need to worry
i regret me losing faith
i know that you truly care
so i should feel the same, it's only fair
i just wish you were here
so i could let you know
everything i feel i must show
you now, for tomorrow may never come
maybe for you, but not for some
i hate the fact that i can't seize the day
i wish i could, i wish you could stay
but this day
in some way
i'll be with you
in some way
always
i miss you
