On the Ramp

tomorrow, then, seeming closer
she's not coming
now seeming far away...
the anticipation
of next we meet
is all to familiar now
only been a few days
and already the space between
two figures in the clearing
what seems arms reaching out
are just clouds of our dreams
shrouded in this empty space
i hate it!
why the fuck do they do this?
rip my dreams in two?
why must they insist on seperation?
i need this...
i want this...
I LOVE HER!!!
why can't they understand?
the helpless words drip from these lips
like blood, they stain me
eternally...
when it comes to seperation
eternity is none less of a thought
being with you is all i want
can this wish be granted?
in my eyes, in this reflection
yes...
but tomorrow is not today
and today is eternity
without the one
seizing this day in vein
the cold outside where we used to be
that spot on the ramp
just you and me
together...
despite the bothering faces
we were there, locked in the future our eyes held
we're drifting now in this void
far from that little place in my head
but though i'm not there
and your not here
i still like to escape to it
that special place in this world
where it seems the only place to meet
just the thought of me and you
and my day's complete
i just wish everyday was like that day
when together we stayed
on the ramp that day |
