» Poem: Weep no More
Weep no More
written by IceBound

why must you weep in silence?
in the comfort of that little place in your mind?
you know i wouldn't force it out of you
but if you see me
i'm holding the needle and thread
let me help
let me be the one
i know i can do this
open the door
i'm standing out in this rain
and it's your tears i'm drenched in...
your pain, it knows me
senses the presence of my heart
and whispers in your ear to back away
but i know your heart tells you otherwise
it tells you to submit to what strength we have
what this relationship stands for
you know where i am
the emotional doormat outside the door
on this floor, this hellbound world we live in
i'm outside looking in
you see me, don't deny what your heart is telling you
i know you hear me pounding on this door
this barrier created to you mind's content
you know i'm here
i can hear your screams
my lies and anger only gain entry
they pierce your heart
i see you...
low to the ground reaching out
barely speaking, just a whisper...
"...help..."
you're reaching out for someone
anyone! but you refuse all but one hand
let me see, let US see if that helping hand
is me...
