Nothing

Staring fate down in the light
Hiding hateful tears of pain
Leaning against a wall of dust
Something to hold on to -
Out of grasp
The past
Seeping through a slip of conscious thought
Bringing out angry demons whom promise mercy
Leaving me devoid of all strength to push on
Sheer wings of blackness veil my eyes
into a world once familiar
Taken
Dragging through the bowels of hellish euphoria
Licking lips of cold blood
Staring into a world of nothingness
I am nothing
Skin that once could feel
Feels no more
Fears no more
Dies no more
I am nothing |
