Friend

and she's left me all alone
Dreary life, a vacant life
I live on...
and on
But it treats me bad and so
I keep living on
I pass the days, the time and why?
I'll leave it to rest
When you hear me now and then
You know I've done my best
Watch over me, friend
You know I'll meet you there
And when my time comes friend,
I'll once again be by your side
I've had a friend from which I've grown
And she's moved on without me
Hammered heart, hurting heart
So on...
And on
Life will go on friend
And over me, you're living on |
