» Poem: The Times
The Times
written by Lothiriel

Does it make you feel good to know
that I'd wait til the end of days for you
Finally for your touch, your eyes to fall on me
Would you think that you knew me
Would you remember
when the fame and fortune cloud your mind
Would your imagination run for just a moment
to the times we wished our hands could touch
All the times I waited for you
And in the back of your mind
you knew I would be there
If all else ever failed, I'd be there

Would you remember to thank me,
though you knew I wouldn't have it
Would I flash across your mind
The times when I was a breath away
and still miles from you
The times I made you feel real
were those the times?
When I listened and understood
and comprehended for you

The times I made you smile
when you thought you had sunk for good
The time I spent, here for you
The time I would spend there with you
Would I come to mind
when the crowds are screaming your name
Would you notice that I sing along to your tune
Cos it doesn't really matter if it doesn't matter to you
