» Poem: Dreamer
Dreamer
written by DarkAngelBlood

A happy memory stuck in time,
That happy moment once was mine.
I try to feel it again,
But it's not coming back,
Cause you're not my friend.
When I told you I was a dreamer,
You'd never believe me,
And they didn't either.
You'd be stuck on your logic,
While it broke my heart.
It's easy to classify it all as magic,
But it was so real from the start.
You'd listen to what the others would say,
You go your way,
I'll go mine.
It's so easy to give into their pressure,
But you heard the words from me,
From inside my soul, so pure.
You thought what they were saying was right,
But it's not all about this life.
I have a dreamland and I'd take you there,
But many times you showed me,
You just don't care.
You don't listen to what I say,
You think everything's a lie and you're afraid.
