tear
written by devilchild0109:22 PM 12/16/04As the sun lays the days final kiss,
another tear is lost.
Burning it's path upon my cheek,
etching it's shadow into my soul.
Darkness soon to devour me,
merely existing.
Numbing pain the only proof
that I still breath.
The stars in the heavens
a reflection of the tears I have shed
I lie in wait of my dreamless sleep
to bid me home. |
