» Poem: Erased Past
Erased Past
written by ieatsmellysocks
12:19 AM 12/17/04
She can tell stories with each and every scar
Her parents keep pushing her telling her to go far
She’s got a blank expression and an erased past
She has no memory of the years that have passed
Everyone has left her now she feels so alone
She gets beaten up everyday she wants to run away from home
She’s shouting for help but they pretend she doesn’t exist
They think that she’s just faking it when she cuts her wrist
Every night she cries herself to sleep and has nightmares about rape
She tries so hard to forget, but she just cant escape
They all just ignore her because she’s a nobody
Well I am that girl so please someone help me
