Tryst

only time can be granted
yet so small an amount of it
i am grateful
Tryst is only possible
through time, which fate seems to never lend
will it ever?
forever lost in this daze
i try to hold on to that feeling
your hand in mine
this ring in time...
Tryst...
the only on true even to look foward
to you and me, with trust
all things possible
with love...all that i cherish in you
and only for you, no one else
eyes burned, i've lost sight of all
but the sound of your voice
i long to hear it call my name...
repeat those incredible words
overwhelmed in shock, in a single frame
Tryst...
a title to a dream
begging for reality's touch
all reminders of you
spun day to night
the stars, the sky, a scarlet hue
the memories, to few
Tryst...
but to plan ahead is set for failure
set goal instead, an accomplishment unsaid
but i refuse to leave well enough alone
blood drip...
to your heart, feasting on your pain
they to will soon fade
Tryst... is all i want
all i need and more
till this blood runs dry
till the last drop touches your soul
till your heart fulfills it's figure
till our next meeting...
still waiting for
