How it Feels
written by The-Angelic-Lerena03:22 PM 12/17/04Look into my eyes and tell me what you see
Tell me the truth or you'll never understand
Just how it feels to be what I am...
Lost into what I was forced to be like
You may give the thing I want most
But you still don't know me enough
You know it's worse than you know
You just don't know how it feels
You make me feel like shit
You make me feel invaded
Like a slave with no privacy
All I wanted was the respect
If moving is what I need than please
Please let me move...
You can make me suffer, and that's what you do
You can make me cry, and that's what you do
You can make me burn, and that's what you do
Tell me just how it feels when you've lived like me
Walk into the dark halls of my mind
Tell me what you see and just how you feel
How does it feel to realize I've been through pain
You thought I was fine but enter all I have
Don't tell me you know better for me
You know you don't, only I do
I'm old enough to understand, Mom
Let me tell you what I need
Through my younger years you were in charge
But now I'm old enough to know what I need
So tell me Mom, how does it feel to be hurt
Tell me how it feels and try to know what I've seen
I've been through so much, Mom
Please understand that and tell me how it feels
Tell me, because I've been through so much
I need to know how much pain it truly is
And I need my friends to be there
You can at least make things less painful
Consider this, Mom, please... |
