remember when?

when i see your not waiting i lay down and cry.
remember when you came to stay the night?
phone rings late at night and i race down the stairs
its only a prank call and i feel tears well.
remember when you called to cry on my shoudler?
wind whistles and i run to the window
your not on the ground waving and my heart sinks
remember when we went for walks in the dark?
but i geuss its not going to happen again, your gone, i'm alone, life will go on, people leave, places change, things are on the move. |
