Cut Away The Pain

Than I had ever cut before
So deep the blood ran down my arm
Making me wonder if I’d gone too far
The red stream flowed down, shiny and wet
Moving across the scars of my past regrets
How the fuck did I end up this way?
I can’t even remember the last time I felt okay
Everyday I try to cut away the pain
But over and over the hurt still remains
It doesn’t even matter how hard I try
In the end I’m still hiding in a lie
After everything’s been said and done
I’m back in the same place where I had begun |
