Life Is Hard

Someone locked inside of me
Looking out the window but I can't see
You said you'd catch me
Look at me now
See what you've done
Look at what I have become
And you can't stop what has begun
From this piont on there is little fun
Life is hard, yes I know
Watch the changes , watch me grow
There was once a place in my head
Where I'd go when I went to bed
Now eveything in that place is dead
Looking at where my life has lead
Now it's hard to go on
Trying to figure out what went wrong
There's nothing left,I can't see
I need to find the light in front of me
So I can go back to that place in my mind
Hoping that I can find
That missing piece of mine
And no I'm not doing fine
Look at me tell me the truth
Was this really wroth my youth?
Did I really have to give it all up
Just so one day I'd be feed up
With this life that I have
Hoping that I could laugh
And be turely happy again
Hoping that I can keep my friend
Till the end
And this life is hard, yes I know
But thats not the way everything should flow
But what can I do I still need t grow
And there's so much I want to show
But I can only do that if you let me go |
