resting place

I stand alone, cold and heart broken
Thinking of how you and me were meant to be
Till they came and took you from me
I think of ending right now
Just leaping from this cliff falling to my death.
As I take in my last breath
I see a beautiful lady floating above my head
All dressed in a flowing white dress
her skin shines out love
Above her the stars reflect love and joy
She shines her golden glow on me
Inside my head I feel nothing but calm
I only hear her soft voice
Whispers of her softly spoken words
Gently easing my pains removing my worries
With her soft voice she takes my life
And leads me to my resting place |
