Hangover
written by Trapezium11:44 AM 12/19/04Lie in bed with a bucket by my side,
Filled with the contents of yesterday,
Jumbo hotdogs, special burgers and lots of booze,
Have to wash the drink stains away.
Walking downstairs all dreary and tired,
Half eaten pringles and half drunk wine,
Bottles of beer and biscuits everywhere,
Puke in the toilet - that's not mine.
At least someone else fucked their guts up too,
And it isn't just me with a headache,
Trying to find a hangover cure,
Listening to aha shake heartbreak.
Trying to get the taste of sick out my mouth,
Gotta clean up before mum gets home,
Fuck kings of leon get the hardcore out again,
Rave all night 'cause no one's gonna moan.
They started on a mate,
Then they fucking ran away,
They knew we'd kick the fuckers up,
Well we'll do it another day. |

Why would I want to know if you loved kings of leon, exactly? There's a difference between wanting to be hardcore and listening to hardcore. No matter how old one is, it is their individual taste that matters. What is growing up? Getting a job, getting hurt, havingyour face pushed in the dirt? If that's so then I'm not prepared to grow up. Why should anyone go through torture, just to prove their maturity? |
