Ugly

now I feel like I'm not worth anything.
I feel so ugly, like you don't love me,
or even care at all.
are your eyes wondering, looking
at someone else? someone better?
have you finally realized,
you have an ugly duckling,
that will never turn into a beautiful swan?
I feel you're turning away from me
that your love for me is fading.
you are the only one who ever
made me feel beautiful, and I'm scared
I just might lose the best thing I have,
I'm scared of losing you. |
