Forgotten Entry
written by twistedmind3303:23 AM 12/21/04Forgotten Entry
A thousand thoughts rush through my head
I flip through the pages aimlessly
Searching for a face that calls out from the crowd
Nothing
Next
Opps…
I grabbed my journal by mistake
Wait
What’s this?
January 22
I saw him
I remember this
It’s bull
I flip past
The page calls for me
I read on
He winked
I smiled
It was love at first sight
That’s not how it happened
He lied to me
Made me fall in love with him
Then left me for her
Yes, she was prettier
But he was mine
Not hers
This story’s too depressing
It’s not worth my time
I can’t relive the memories hoping for a change
You can’t do this to me
You’re dead to me
I wasn’t supposed to recall
You were just a piece of my past
Just like this piece of paper I wrote you on
But why does this hurt?
It’s tearing me in two
Just like I am to this paper
I can toss you aside just like you did to me
Just point me in the right direction
And tell me now
Where the trash is |
