Sick With Longing

every time I look into your eyes
Aching so much more than I can comprehend
and confusion is more than I understand
Why is it that I'm so open
So much made to love
So much made to be misunderstood
Too much like what I fear myself to be
Pawn me off
I break so easily
Why do I have to take to you so seriously
What should I try and prove
So sick
So sick for you
Every step comes with a difficulty
Like stones embedded in you
eventually you can’t breath
from all the effort of devotion
So many things we have to change
Too many things to feel a gain
Stone my heart and watch it fall
I’ll stitch it together again
So sick
So sick for you
Every step comes with a difficulty
