Luv Sucker

cuz you think you're in luv
find yourself wallowing in the pity
of the week before’s blues
and you can't take chances
when you're playin' with luv
but in time, it never fails
when your heart's payin' the dues
You give all that you can
at that moment in time
yesterday, today
everyday, all day
because you just don't know
what you can't see
and it's so hard to believe
...to believe the fuck in me
convince yourself
that maybe, for once
yeah, just maybe you might prove yourself wrong
yet you go on all day, everyday
skippin' like you've just found a gold mine in your backyard
okay, convince yourself that luv's not that hard
To believe in others, you gotta believe in yourself
I believe in myself
but what the fuck do you do when no one believes you
feelings all cramped inside
feelings that you're sick of trying to hide
you can hide them from yourself, but what's the use
so you go on through the day
all day, everyday
taking the abuse
They all like to write about luv
the pleasantries, the beauty
like wearing your heart on your sleeve
well I guess sometimes you've gotta believe
and things will be good, and things will be fine
and things will revolve 'til you're happy in time
It's something you do to yourself, really
luv
yeah, I wanna luv you like I thought I never could
cuz when I stop this self pity, like I know I should
and take the time to think, like I have
... and I have
You'll know it's luv
So prove I'm not a sucker for it. |
