FAT cat syndrome

the classic fame outcome is clear to me
Somewhere along the line
you'll find out you've passsed your time
(car commercials are a sighn)
you're no longer free
manipulating for the crowds
you're not regretting it right now
but you're just a joke to meeee
and it's all too plain to seeee
again you do commericals for DIY stores
we laugh at home, an unsuspected enore
But you're just a joke to us
but you can't see it's because
You've got Fat cat syndrome
companies'll treat you like a whore
your'e catch-phases are well-known
but everyone heard them all before
You got FAT cat syndrooooome |

Its like a sort of Greenday song in the way it sort of changes tune a bit but its still got that repeated pattern(ostinato d'ya call it?) i guess you'll never know that though.
