only you

i pretended i'm all right but that was a lie
i pretended i don't need you but that was a lie too.
i live in the nothingness of my lies, it's true
that no one could help me , only you.
i am now sitting on the ground looking at the night sky
there are no stars tonight, they've died
they have died along with my very emotions
trapped in my own hour glass my soul starts to cry,
no one could ease the pain , only you.
the match burnt earlier has turned into crisp
my hopes of a better life have also fadded away.
i remain at this window looking for the future
staring at the people who hold each others hand
knowing that here i'll stand all empty and alone.
in my eyes you could see fear
strrugling beneath my pale skin,
i reach for your hand to pull me from my grave
i look for support, hopping to understand my crave
for love , blood, and tears.
i feel sometimes that i am cursed
to live the life i do,
no one could help me
get rid of these insecure feelings
no one except you. |
