» Poem: Black Rose*
Black Rose*
written by Trapezium
04:03 PM 6/21/04
A beautiful red rose was growing,
It dulled and started slowing,
Eventually it faded to black,
The thorns did start to crack,
And writhe along the walls,
It grows and then it stalls,
Growing darker every time,
Leaving a trail of grime.

This rose it is still pretty,
The darkness it is absorbing,
The black petals have been through so much,
These black petals are souls,
That are seeing bad times,
This flower is full of Angels,
Angels of Hope,
Like You, Aba and I,
all of these angels wish to leave,
But they are getting help,
They will be helped before they make,
A poisonous blackness of death,
Leaving a noxious odour behind.

This rose will forever stay black,
But when we have found our way,
It will shine and gloss for another day,
The odour will disappear and,
The darkness will abstand,
And peace will be restored,
These Angels will stay never to be bored,
And they will love each other in a way,
That no-one can realise until they feel it stay.
