Memories Of Yesterday

Will ruin my tomorrow
And ive yet to say goodbye
To all the days that just passed by
I cannot go a day
Without remembering yesterday
I cant forget no matter how hard I try
Things are getting so bad and I just want to die
When will the dead grass dry after yesterdays rain
When will I forget and live without pain
When will the mist just fade away
When will the night turn into just one more day
Who is this stranger,traveling on aching feet
Running away from it all getting soaked by puddles in the street
All the things that happened yesterday
When will it turn to a brand new day
And I just keep running from things that happened to me
Why cant I just live in todays world,not be lost in memory
Because yesterdays land is getting kind of old
Im tired and lost hungry and cold
I just cant escape
These thoughts of rape
When will the memories of an awful yesterday
Turn into a new tomorrow when will it fade away |
