One Big Lie

except for when I break
and then I cry
sticking happy faces on everything
covering up the truth
acting like I am all right
when really I know I'm not
try to fix it all
put the darkness to rest
I want to clear my name
but instead I wallow here in shame
devistation is all I've caused
even when I try to do something right
somehow it always turns out wrong
broken into pieces and then stepped on
I'm such a mess
its all a big ugly lie
except for today
when I cry |
