Shards of Glass

I've dropped here on the floor
shattering all around
when I walk
the glass cuts my feet
every time they hit the ground
shards of glass
things I've done
digging into me
reminding me
of what I could have been
what I was meant to be
and now I'm stuck
here in my misery
with glass in my feet
and blackness in my soul
ripping me apart every day
I know I'll never be okay |
