» Poem: The End of Jhonny Superstar
The End of Jhonny Superstar
written by Tessin
07:33 AM 12/24/04
Two kids in a hall, of an old building downtown.
One man with a gun, innocence slayn all around.
He looks at her, she looks at him,
They'd never met and now it ends.
Two kids in a hall, against the world,
From the barrel bullets hurl.
In an instant, he's in front of her,
One quick movement, just a blur.
His eyes meet hers, as his bodies rent,
For her salvation, his life is speant.
And as he falls to his knees,
The murderer drops the gun and flees.
But her nerves are hardened steel,
She grabs the gun, the scene's surreal.
She levels the weapon, lets lead fly.
Down falls the gunman, eye for an eye.
Why this happened, she hasnt a clue,
She crawls to the side of a man she never knew.
From the ground he sees the murderer fall,
He can't feel his limbs at all,
In the end he'd put up a fight,
And his last movements saved a life,
At least he'd made it this far,
The end of Johnny superstar.
