Perhaps you havent noticed, or perhaps you just dont care,
That your oil isnt worth the oceans, it isnt worth the air.
I think maybe you missed it, or maybe you find it thrilling,
Your Missles arent always on target, its not just soldiers your killing.
And maybe your too caught up, or maybe your just nieve,
But I dont think that our laws should come from the preachers on tv.
I know you dont think that we notice, or at least thats what you hope.
Because i promise you things would be different, if you let us have the vote.
Its not your future you're wrecking, It's not your tax dollars now.
You'll die rich and happy regaurdless, youve got nothing to worry about.
And what of your running mate's daughter? I dont think she would agree,
with your bible-belt veiw of marriage, and protecting it's sanctity.
And i wonder if you would listen, i wonder if you'd hear the voice,
of the underpriveleged moms to be, that know women have a choice.
Pay attention Mr. President, you and your stock market whores.
If this is the land of the free, then may the brave soon break down your doors.
