» Poem: Tasty Curses
Tasty Curses
written by Tessin

Why exactly does your poetry alert all my senses
to swirreling sapphire smoke and the smell of incense?
Why does it seem as though tiny bells should ring as you walk,
and fire should burn blue-white at your sides as you talk?
Is vanilla a spice and are pointy fangs nice?
And wish I knew what you were made of.
And if blood is red, then why are veins blue?
Sugar isn't as sweet as good music to you.
Jack wasnt nimble and jill wasnt quick.
And fire can burn you, if you dont know the trick.
Double the bubbles, toil, and trouble,
you wont find the answers in your personal rubble.
But hey diddle diddle, I dont want your fiddle,
And stars are more fun than the moon.
