» Poem: twinkle in you're eye
twinkle in you're eye

Went to visit you today
I had a picture of you in my mind
Thinking of what you had said
This is all I had to say

“I looked at you’re plaque
There’s no turning back
Looking back on memories is painful
Drinking out of little tea cups delightful
My sky is black but once blue"
The wind blew I heard your voice

It was soft and gentle like a lullaby,
It sang to me
The rhythm in your voice was slow

“My child I love you so,
Your heart is full of woe
I called above and beyond for you,
I will make your skies shine bright and blue
I’m the twinkle in you’re eye,
Alas my darling I have to fly
I sing to you my lullaby
For now my angel I say goodbye”
