Do You Remember

Reminds me of what happened yesterday
Lets rewind the tape
Go back to how it was when I didn’t have nightmares of rape
Push the rewind button on the vcr
Because I cant live with things the way they are
I cant even look at you anymore
Without being reminded of how it was before
Now ive stupidly turned to self harm
Carving words like help into my scarred arm
Have you forgotten?Do you remember me
Do you still remember how it used to be
I look pretty happy in every picture frame
But in my eyes you can see my pain
I just cant go on like this
With you pretending that I don’t exist
I’ll be all alone on Christmas day
I just want to get away
I wish that yesterday was just a dream
Or something I read about in a magazine
I never thought that it might happen to me
I still remember how things used to be
It seems like a movie that just wont end
Im all alone I could use a friend
Its been a series of unfortunate events
I have no idea how I could have been so dense
Have you forgotten the girl you used to know
I never knew just why you had to go
With the memories of yesterday still fresh in my mind
Do you remember am I just wasting my time
I just cant go on like this
With you pretending that I don’t exist
I’ll be all alone on Christmas day
I just want to get away |
